Unruly Visions: Art, Activism, and Intersectionality

Ruskin DPhil student Xinyue Liu is part of organising the conference Unruly Visions: Art, Activism, and Intersectionality.

Unruly Visions conference

On 5th and 6th December, a collection of artists and scholars will be exploring gender, activism, and the arts in East Asia, particularly China, Korea, and Japan. The conference, supported by the Ruskin, is completely free.

As well as two keynote lectures given by Professor Meiqin Wang (University of California, Northridge) and Professor Ming Tiampo (Carleton University).

The conference will be held in the Lecture Theatre, Faculty of History, 41-47 George Street, Oxford OX1 2BE.
