MFA retreat in Somerset

The MFA cohort spent some time in Somerset in early May this year, to visit Hauser & Wirth and to work together on the Degree Show presentation.

Oreet Asher, Professor of Contemporary Art and the Director of the MFA programme at the Ruskin, organised the trip and says:

"We worked on the degree show with all students present at once over the course of two days and also visited Hauser & Wirth. The trip was incredibly beneficial for many pedagogical reasons and it's something we would like to build on for next year."

"A really wonderful experience on many levels and an exciting model pedagogically", adds Eve Ess, a Departmental Lecturer in Contemporary Art and MFA course leader at the Ruskin School of Art, who joined the students during their residential.
