Exercise (Djibouti) 2012 premiered at the Old Power Station in Oxford earlier in the summer as an official component of the London 2012 Festival. It has since moved to Southwark Old Town Hall where it is showing in South London Gallery’s Pursuit of Perfection: The Politics of Sport until Friday 14 September.

Exercise (Djibouti) 2012 is commissioned by the Ruskin School of Drawing & Fine Art, Oxford University Sport and Modern Art Oxford.

Supported by Audiomotion Studios, ArtAV, National Lottery through Arts Council England, Culture Ireland, John Fell OUP Fund, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Podium and Magdalen College, Oxford, the project forms part of RELAY, a region-wide programme of new visual arts commissions and live events across the South East to mark the Olympic year.
