Art as a Mode of Enquiry

Art as a Mode of Enquiry is a project by the Ruskin’s doctoral students, comprising an exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum and an interdisciplinary graduate symposium.

The site-specific exhibition of contemporary art - the first of its kind at the world’s oldest university museum - will run from 12 - 17 June. The graduate symposium, running on 16 - 17 June, will feature presentations in philosophy, history of art and fine art research, as well as keynote addresses by Adrian Piper and Shearer West.
