Creative Scotland have announced that The Common Guild will be curating the Scottish Pavilion at next year’s Venice Biennale. The exhibition will feature three artists – Duncan Campbell, Corin Sworn and Hayley Tompkins – and marks ten years since Scotland’s first participation in the event.

Elizabeth Price and Corin Sworn appointed to new positions in Oxford
The Ruskin School of Art is delighted to announce that Elizabeth Price and Corin Sworn have been appointed as University Lecturers in Fine Art and will join the department on a permanent basis from October 2012.
Art as a Mode of Enquiry
Art as a Mode of Enquiry is a project by the Ruskin’s doctoral students, comprising an exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum and an interdisciplinary graduate symposium.

The Ruskin Degree Show 2012 will be taking place at The Old Power Station, Oxford from 15th-17th June. This highly anticipated event marks the culmination and development of 21 finalists’ work in the form of a public exhibition which takes place over three days. This is an exclusive showcase of young contemporary talent held at a unique location in the centre of Oxford.
