Lynette Yiadom-Boakye wins the Future Generation Art Prize

Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, one of the Ruskin’s visiting tutors, has been announced the Main Prize Winner of the Future Generation Art Prize 2012. Lynette will receive a 100,000 USD award; 60,000 USD in cash and 40,000 USD to be invested in the production of new work.

Elizabeth Price Wins Major Award

Elizabeth Price (BFA 1985-1988) a Lecturer in Fine Art at the Ruskin is one of the successful recipients of the Paul Hamlyn Foundation Award for Artists 2012.

Moby Dick Big Read

A number of Ruskin staff, students and alumni have taken part in an exciting project organised by the artist Angela Cockayne and the writer Philip Hoare, namely the Moby Dick Big Read.

Honest Publishing Unleashes The Vorrh

THE VORRH is Brian Catling’s long-awaited epic fantasy creation, the first novel in an astounding new trilogy. The launch features a performance and exclusive reading by Brian Catling. There will also be a special guest appearance by renowned fantasy writer ALAN MOORE. He is to announce the winner of the prize draw, who will receive an original and collectible piece of artwork by Brian Catling.
