Ruskin alumnus Oliver Beer wins the Daiwa Foundation Art Prize 2015
The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation has announced that Oliver Beer (BFA 2009, Worcester College) is the winner of the Daiwa Foundation Art Prize 2015. Oliver was shortlisted alongside Mikhail Karikis and Julie Brook, also of the Ruskin (BFA 1983, Magdalen College).
Nathaniel Mellors Wins the Contemporary Art Society Annual Award 2014
Nathaniel Mellors (BFA 1999, St Catherine's College), in partnership with the Harris Museum & Art Gallery, has won the Contemporary Art Society Award 2014. Mellors will create a film that will form the centrepiece of a major exhibition on the themes of Samuel Beckett and The Theatre of the Absurd.

The Ruskin School of Art is holding a Drawing Sale this weekend. Paintings, drawings, photographs, t-shirts, cakes and a huge variety of other festive treats will be on sale. Katrina Palmer awarded Paul Hamlyn Foundation Award for Artists 2014
During a ceremony that took place last night, the Paul Hamlyn Foundation announced that Katrina Palmer, Ruskin tutor and Randall MacIver Junior Research Fellow at Lady Margaret Hall, is one of the five winners of its Visual Arts Awards 2014.
