Katrina Palmer joins the Ruskin as Associate Professor of Fine Art

Katrina Palmer joins the Ruskin's faculty staff in October 2018 and in 2018-19 will be co-course leader of the MFA programme, as well as supervising DPhils.  Katrina is also a fellow of Lady Margaret Hall (LMH).

Katrina was previously a valued Visiting Tutor at the Ruskin and Junior Research Fellow at LMH. She has most recently has taught at Central St Martin's (UAL). She returns to Oxford with a wealth of expertise in teaching, researching and making contemporary art. 

Katrina works across diverse media, spanning moving and still image, sculpture, performance and writing. She has exhibited throughout the UK and internationally, in venues including Artangel, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and the Hayward Gallery. The Ruskin is thrilled that she will extend the diversity of theory and practice in the School's programmes.  For further information, see http://www.rsa.ox.ac.uk/people/katrina-palmer.
