Daria Martin wins the Jarman Award 2018

Daria Martin, Professor of Fine Art at the Ruskin School of Art (and Fellow of Fine Art at St Joh's College, Oxford) was announced the winner of the 2018 Film London Jarman Award.

Katrina Palmer joins the Ruskin as Associate Professor of Fine Art

Katrina Palmer joins the Ruskin's faculty staff in October 2018 and in 2018-19 will be co-course leader of the MFA programme, as well as supervising DPhils.  Katrina is also a fellow of Lady Margaret Hall (LMH).

The Art of Anatomy: artists and scientists in conversation - exhibition 14-25 July 2018

The University of Oxford’s Ruskin School of Art and the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics (DPAG) jointly present this exhibition, 'The Art of Anatomy', to celebrate the happy relationship that the Ruskin has enjoyed with DPAG for over forty years, and to explore the continuing relationship between artistic and scientific study, and of how art transforms anatomy, both historically and in contemporary practice. The exhibition will open on Saturday 14 July in the galleries at Kendrew Barn, in St John’s College, which is hosting the Anatomical Society’s Summer Meeting 23rd-25th July, 2018.
