Virtual Open Day at the Ruskin

Thank you to all those who visited the Ruskin Virtual Open Days in 2021; we hope you found them useful. There are no further open days in 2021 - the next University Open Days will be in July 2022 - but we hope to publish some of the videos and sessions here on the website in due course.

The Ruskin, as the department of Fine Art at the University of Oxford, has once again topped the UK for the study of art and design.

Samson Kambalu wins Fourth Plinth commission

Samson Kambalu, Professor of Fine Art at Ruskin School of Art, has won a commission for a place on the ‘fourth plinth’ in Trafalgar Square with his powerful sculpture, Antelope, depicting the pan-Africanist Malawian preacher, John Chilembwe.
