Oreet Ashery at KW Institute for Contemporary Art

The Ruskin is thrilled to share the news of Ruskin Professor of Fine Art, Oreet Ashery's new film 'Selfish Road' which will be screened at KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin, 23rd - 28th November.

Visitors to the Istanbul Biennale 2022 can experience Ruskin DPhil alumna (2014) Mariah Lookman's work, 17th September - 20th November.

Professor Brian Catling (1948-2022)

The Ruskin is deeply saddened to announce the death of Professor Emeritus Brian Catling, RA, following a long illness. Brian joined the Ruskin in 1991, and served the School for 26 years, before retiring in 2017, after which he remained an active part of our community.

Phenomenon

The Phenomenon Association and the Kerenidis Pepe Collection are pleased to announce the fourth edition of Phenomenon, a project for contemporary art held on the Aegean island of Anafi, Greece. Invited participants for 2022 includes Ruskin's own Ian Kiaer.

Ruskin 2022 Degree Show Prize Winners

We are thrilled to announce the winners of the following prizes

Quilla Constance

Alumna Quilla Constance, (abbreviated to QC) returned to the Ruskin in 2022 to judge The Kevin Slingsby Prize for Funnel Vision, along with Holly Slingsby and Oreet Ashery. The winner of this year’s prize was Lue Campbell-Smith.
