Ruskin School of Art commissions major artwork to commemorate 800th anniversary of Magna Carta
The Ruskin School of Art has commissioned the leading British artist Cornelia Parker to produce a major artwork to commemorate the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta.
Nathaniel Mellors Wins the Contemporary Art Society Annual Award 2014
Nathaniel Mellors (BFA 1999, St Catherine's College), in partnership with the Harris Museum & Art Gallery, has won the Contemporary Art Society Award 2014. Mellors will create a film that will form the centrepiece of a major exhibition on the themes of Samuel Beckett and The Theatre of the Absurd.

Katrina Palmer awarded Paul Hamlyn Foundation Award for Artists 2014
During a ceremony that took place last night, the Paul Hamlyn Foundation announced that Katrina Palmer, Ruskin tutor and Randall MacIver Junior Research Fellow at Lady Margaret Hall, is one of the five winners of its Visual Arts Awards 2014.
