Ben Holland

I am a multi-media artist combining print and sculpture, which revolves around the tactility of materials and the fictional embers derived from patterns and structural forms. Working to recreate the visual abrasions on the landscape formed by industrial footprints and extraction processes, my sculptures centre on abstract geometry, exploring the tensions between environment and human consumption. Driven by research into archival and satellite imagery as well as fabricating fictitious narratives, my work is rooted in an innate desire for a material and spatial accessibility to industrial locations.
