Marco Robert Godfrey Allegretti is a dual national, born in the UK and raised in Rome, Italy. He graduated from the Slade School of Fine Art (BA) and completed a postgraduate scholarship 'The Drawing Year' at the Royal Drawing School. His work explores the interplay of colour, light, texture, and time, drawing inspiration from nature and weathered surfaces. Through an intuitive, process-driven approach, he layers marks to reflect the unpredictable, creating a dialogue between chance and intention.
