Haoran Qiu

Haoran (b.2000, China) is a childhood enthusiast and storyteller. He believes that everything he creates is a reworking and rewriting of childhood memories. He likes to find the adult nature in childhood stories. He works in the fields of narrative short film, moving image, video installation and still image. His creations focus on the emotional connection between people, finding the subtle gap between reality and surreality, between the story told and not told, and then using the layers of dialogue to drive the storytelling for his creations. He currently enjoys drinking sparkling water and sleeping on the floor.
