Hafsa Siddiqui

Hafsa is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is most often about otherness and the terrors of navigating mundane life. Through chicken wire sculptures, clay models, drawings and paintings, she makes things that are awkward and ‘just about good enough’. Her work is intuitive and thrown together haphazardly, trying to reconcile time spent remembering things and pondering ‘what if’. She enjoys character building, storytelling and dark humour, using this to make work that is both playful and sad.
