Emily Hoyle

An exploration of archetypes, mythology, religion and art history informs Emily’s practice. She is deeply interested in the human spirit and explores this in her work through both abstract and figurative symbols. For her, animals serve as messengers for spiritual and psychological truths and frequently appear in her work. Her multidisciplinary art practice has been divided between rural Warwickshire and Oxford and includes painting, drawing, sculpture and photography as primary disciplines.
