Martha De la Cruz is an Afro-Taino artist who investigates coloniality. Her practice is guided by her colonial wound and the desire to change the realities of the global south. De la Cruz received her BFA in Sculpture from the University of South Florida in 2020. Her work has been part of many exhibitions in spaces across the USA, including the USF Contemporary Art Museum, CoCurate 224 (the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art), and more.
