Zoe Shum

I am a Hong Kong-born artist whose practice cannot escape the intimate spaces I inhabit for moments at a time, and how I am moulded by them. Combining visceral explorations of psychological and bodily feminine experiences with the obsessive potential of confined spaces, I create narrative-based multimedia projects ranging from video to illustration to games with focus on internet art, digital culture and uncanny aesthetics in which female life and death, sexuality, and enigma are inextricable.
