Loveday Pride

Loveday has a continued interest in painting, the carnivalesque, big tent happenings and spectacle. Her painting begins with thoughts of the ephemeral line, but ultimately delights in the joy of paint as a material process. Her popular art references - from Toby Jugs to football press clippings - retain their quotidian charm even as they escape into psychedelic compositions and wonder-filled landscapes.
