Ruskin Prize Winners

The Ruskin has had a flurry of prizes in the first four weeks of Trinity Term, and each (very different) prize has had a large and varied number of entries, so congratulations to all the winners, who beat off strong competition.

Virginia Russolo, winner of The Sir William Dunn School for Pathology Art Award, with Brian Catling / Lucy Till-Awny

The Kevin Slingsby Prize for Funnel Vision was awarded to Hannah Oram - BFA second year (St Hugh's).

Another second year Virginia Russolo (St. Catherine's) won the Sir William Dunn School for Pathology Art Award, and will be completing her commission for the School of Pathology over the summer.

Third year (and busy finalist) Mariota Spens (Magdalen) submitted a video for which she won the Egerton Coghill Landscape Prize.

Judging has been a fascinating process for all those involved, due to the high quality and variety of entries. The final decision about each winner was not easy, so all credit to every applicant for submitting such interesting work.  And renewed congratulations to all the winners.
